CHANTEUSE
De père musicien (pianiste de jazz, compositeur, arrangeur), elle grandit bercée par les standards de jazz et la chanson française. A peine âgée de 18 ans, elle forme un duo vocal avec sa soeur, Cécile, les "Voies Mêlées", surnommées ainsi par Claude Nougaro, originaire de la même ville, Toulouse. Elles ont d'ailleurs la chance de partager la scène avec lui lors d'un 1er festival de la chanson française à Paziols, qui sera aussi l'une des dernières scènes de l'artiste.
A sa mort, elles décident de faire un concert HOMMAGE A NOUGARO qu'elles feront voyager de la Chine à La Nouvelle Orléans.
Elles créent également ensemble leur 1ère comédie musicale "SANG BLUES", avec des musiques composées par Cécile, des textes de Bernard Champey et dont Julie signe la mise en scène.
En 2012, elle est choisie pour interpréter Laure dans le spectacle musical "LES AMANTS D'UN JOUR" avec les succès d'Edith Piaf. Aprés la parution de l'album et deux showcases à l'Alhambra et à Bobino, ce projet malheureusement ne verra pas le jour. Mais ce spectacle lui permettra de rencontrer Jean-François Vinciguerra qui la mettra en scène dans le spectacle musical "EVA PERON, LA FLAMBOYANTE" au Festival de Lacoste, aux côtés d'Eve Ruggieri, Norah Amsellem, et Philippe Do. Elle y rencontre également Jean-Claude Ghrenassia, compositeur, arrangeur, avec qui elle collabore sur une comédie musicale qu'elle a écrit et mise en scène "Dog Cat Story". Ils travaillent actuellement sur un nouveau projet de spectacle musical intitulé "Une Histoire Vécue".
Avec son compositeur Manu Ngog, elle développe également un projet musical electro-accoustique aux influences rock et de musiques de films nommé "Blue Monroe", dont elle écrit les textes.
SINGER
Born from a musician father (jazz pianist, composer, arranger), she grows rocked by the jazz standards and French songs. Barely 18 years old, she formed a vocal duo with her sister, Cecile, the "Voies Mêlées", and nicknamed by Claude Nougaro, from the same city, Toulouse. They had also the chance to share the stage with him during a first festival of French song in Paziols, which will also be one of the last scenes of the artist.
At his death, they decide to do a concert TRIBUTE TO NOUGARO that they will travel from China to New Orleans.
They also create together their first musical "SANG BLUES" with music composed by Cecile, Bernard Champey's texts and directed by Julie.
In 2012, she was chosen to play Laura in the musical "Les Amants d'un jour" with the best songs of Edith Piaf. After the release of the album and 2 showcases both at the Alhambra and Bobino, this project unfortunately will not continue. But this show will allow her to meet Jean-François Vinciguerra who will cast her as Evita in the musical "Eva Peron, the flamboyant" at the Lacoste Festival, alongside Eve Ruggieri, Norah Amsellem, and Philippe Do. She also met Jean-Claude Ghrenassia, composer, arranger, with whom she collaborated on a musical she wrote and directed "Dog Cat Story". They are currently working on a new musical project entitled "Une histoire vécue" ("An eye witness").
With its composer Manu Ngog, she is also developing an electro-acoustic music project with rock influences and scores from films, named "Blue Monroe," which she wrote the lyrics.
