ABOUT JULIE DELAURENTI
Julie is an ACTRESS, SINGER/SONGWRITER and AUTHOR/DIRECTOR..
All vectors are good for STORYTELLING.
As an actress, she trained during 3 years at the Conservatoire of Bordeaux. Then with Nicolai Karpov (Gitis de Moscou), Zigmunt Molik (Grotowski Laboratory), and finally at BAW in English
with Sei Shiomi, Marilyn Fried and Amy Werba (Lee
Strasberg technique, Meisner technique, Uta Hagen...).
She has appeared on theatre stages as well as on television and in cinema. She notably played for the full-length feature
Canal + film «QUE RESTE-T-IL DE CHIS CONTY?»,
by Benoit Fink, and in SOLIDTAIRE by Bahram Gueranfar.
She recently embodied Eva Peron in the musical
"Eva Peron, La Flamboyante" at the Festival de LACOSTE produced by Pierre Cardin.
As a Director, she was the John Patrick Shanley's
assistant director for his "Storefront Church" play
(Off Brodway, Atlantic Theater).
She directed music videos, plays and musicals including
"In My Other Life" by John Patrick Shanley, produced in Paris and Avignon, "Sang Blues" produced in China and New Orleans
or "Dog Cat Story" in Paris.
This last year she completed her first short film called
«FORZA DI L’ESSE», a story inspired by a Corsican legend
from the 18th century, which she produced, wrote
and directed in Corsica.
She just bought a theatre in Normandy with her companion that they are renovating to create even more plays and films. This theatre called "Le Cercle Cyrano" will also be an artist factory.

Julie est une COMEDIENNE, CHANTEUSE,
AUTEUR et METTEUR EN SCENE/REALISATRICE.

En tant qu'actrice, Julie a été formée pendant 3 ans au Conservatoire de Bordeaux, puis auprès de Nicolaï Karpov (Gitis de Moscou), Zigmunt Molik (laboratoire Grotowski), enfin à BAW en anglais avec Sei Shiomi, Marilyn Fried et Amy Werba (Lee Strasberg techniques). Elle a travaillé aussi bien sur les planches qu'à la télévision et au cinéma, comme dans le long métrage Canal + « Que reste-t-il de Chris Conty ? » de Benoit Fink, ou dans « Solidtaire » le long métrage de Bahram Guéranfar. Elle a récemment incarné Evita dans « Eva Peron, la Flamboyante» lors du Festival de Lacoste produit par Pierre Cardin, ou encore un rôle de femme flic dans le court métrage "Le Chant des Mygales" d'Antoine Basler.
Elle est également metteuse en scène. Elle a été l'assistante metteur en scène de John Patrick Shanley pour sa pièce "Storefront Church" à New York (Off Broadway).
Elle a réalisé plusieurs clips vidéos et a mis en scène différentes pièces et comédies musicales pour le théâtre, dont "In My Other Life", joué à Paris et Avignon, ou encore "Sang Blues", joué en Chine et à La Nouvelle-Orléans,
et "Dog Cat Story" Ã Paris.
L'année dernière elle a terminé son 1er court métrage
« Forza di L’Esse» sur la francisation de la corse au XVIIIème.
Enfin, elle vient d'acheter un théâtre en Normandie avec son compagnon qu'ils sont en train de rénover afin de créer davantage de pièces et de films. Ce théâtre appelé "Le Cercle Cyrano" sera également un lieu de résidence
d'atistes et de tournage.
